I'd like to know why they are carrying umbrellas while riding bicycles. The forward motion on the bike will just cause the rain to go underneath anyway.

You haven't rode any bicycles in the rain, haven't you?

You're not going that fast, umbrella actually helps, but the pain in the a$$ is holding the umbrella when it's somewhat windy ...

This is a FAIL in my book!

Sorry, I posted this under, "http://laserpointerforums.com/f44/virgin-balloon-pop-fail-53766.html", too but it's still a massive FAIL!

Especially if you use an RPG or a "STINGER MISSILE" to do the popping

Not a heavy rain. I don't exactly poke along when riding my bike either. If it's windy the rain will blow up under the umbrella. If you ride a bike fast enough the wind from your movement could cause umbrella problems too.

I've found umbrellas are only useful to me for two things. One - provides shade. Two - the rain is falling straight down with no wind.

I can think of better things to lie about LOL. No, my mom had one of those clear rain hoodies, and a rain coat. I never had rain gear either. I dont know why, I just never had a problem in the rain. When I drove a motorcycle I'd stop under bridges, but I'd still get soaked.

I never had a problem with the rain either. But I would think that you at least touched one when you were a kid. Maybe saw one in a store and played with it... Na just kidding. Not everyone is marry poppins  I sure as hell am not!

I think the reason why we didnt have umbrellas in the house was because my mother was extremely superstitious. If an umbrella was opened in the house, very back luck was suppose to befall all that lived there. No joke.
