My reaction as a New Jersey resident... corrupt power tripping @$$holes.

You can bet an issue like this would NEVER have escalated if a cop pulled a gun on a civilian.

The only reason this came up as an issue at all, is the the plainclothes cop expected special treatment.

Instead he was treated as ANY citizen would be, and he became unhappy.
