Exactly, and apparently there isn't much bass in the ones that DO exist.
Sometimes being on the cutting edge of technology isn't a good thing.
It would really suck if you drop your ipod and it yanks on the plug too....

Oops! I totally just forgot about my cochlear implant and went swimming. Next time I will have to wait for the waterproof version.....

Well, that can be solved also with the current technologies ..... a simple current generator that use the natural flow of the blood in a vein, can power a completely waterproof, bluetooth receiver ..... these things already exists, and after all, you need very little power, if your transducer is directly inserted in the coclea wall ..... the real problem, at the present time, is not the availability of the parts, is the duration and affidability of them ..... before i may accept something similar, as example, i want a signed warranty for at least 100 years of granted, fail-free, uninterrupted working time, with surgical expenses all paid in case of any malfunction and substitution needed :p :D

At my college, there's a subject called "Programming".

it's constructed wonderfully, in a retarded sense. They couldn't f*ck it up more if they wanted to.

Final test, 11th one, unlike previous 10, carries 20 possible points. One must get 10 points in order to have the ability to pass the subject without going to the summer-time final, provided he/she collected enough points through the whole semester.
That means solving at least 3 out of 5 given problems, in C++ , within 60 minutes.

I bring you literal transcription of the problems which were given to us, not even 24 hours later from first appearance of the materials we can study from online. Link to actual picture as proof is below, if anybody wants to fiddle around with google translate.

Translation:
Write a program in which:

1) User inputs 7 integers which are saved in a file. After that, the numbers are fetched from the file and then are decomposed into prime factors, and added at the end of the file. Then only the prime factors are being printed out of the file on the screen.

2) 8 random numbers are inputted into the file. Then the contents of the file are read and printed on the screen, then sorted with insert-sort method and sorted series of numbers overwrite the contents of the file. New content is printed on the screen.

3) A user inputs 7 words which are saved in a file. After that, program prints on the screen only the vowels, their respective ASCII codes and number of times each vowel appeared in the inputted words. Then, all of the file contents are translated into the field* , and then sort the field so that all the vowels are on the beggining on the file and all the consonants are on the end of the file. Solution is to be done with the usage of functions.

4) [dig this], Using the text file commands, user inputs 4 students' information: name, surname, and the average grade [sum of all grade divided by number of grades]. Print out the students' info on the screen. After that, the students are sorted by the lenght of the first name's string of characters, from shortest to longest. Sorted file is printed out on the screen. After that, print out all the students who's average grade, when added to average grades of the 2 neighbour students is more than average of the average grades when added the average grades of best and worst student. Also, treat the field as if it were a circle, example: neighbouring students of student number 4 are students number 3 and 1.
[I sh*t you not!]

5) A user defines the number of inputs. Each input is only one glyph. It can be either a character or a number. Inputs are to be saved in a file. After that, even numbers are to be sorted in accending order and place them at the beggining of the file, and odd numbers in descending order and place them at the end of the file. Characters are to be sorted alphabetically (a-z) and placed in the middle of the file. Use program structures to solve this.

Out of 90 students which took the 11th test Tuesday, only 3 passed. Thanks to the smuggled photos of the tests, next day more of students passed. Myself included :)

4 years ago or so, I had a garter snake I caught in my mom's backyard while I was over at her house.

I was under the assumption it was a female. A year later I bought a ribbon snake from petco. After the first day, the garter snake started having a strange infatuation with the ribbon snake. And was slithering on top of her, laying across her body.
Here's a picture of them together:

I ultimately had to let the garter snake go, because while fighting over a goldfish, the garter snake's head ended up in her mouth and I had to separate them.

Well some time after I realized the garter snake had been a male and mated with my ribbon snake. I ended up with 11 of these baby snakes to have to raise for a couple weeks and release into the wild. And get a separate tank all set up until I could release them. What a hassle lol.
