Howdy All

I'm writing this only in response to PM's I have received from members asking me what's up ?

I don't know where to start, I have not been on here or Photon Forums much lately because of the things going on in my life and people were starting to ask why I have been away.

Let me say I have had several bad things happen lately that have kept me away I do not want to share all but I will share this.

I recently pretty much totaled out my new Suburban it only had 4260 miles on it and they are still trying to decide on fix or total it.

no one was even bruised in the accident.

The worst thing of all is I have lost my best friend my cat Socks, he has been missing now for a week and I think he was probably taken by a cougar as one was seen recently in the area.

I have had many animals over my life time but none like him, he seemed almost human in his ability to love me and show his affection and I didn't realize how much I loved him back till he was gone, he is deeply missed and I find it very hard to do the things I need to be doing right now.

This was very hard to post, thanks for looking...

Jeff,

I am so very sorry to hear about Socks. I totally understand. Pets are family. Well... better than family because they love you absolutely unconditionally.

Sucks about your truck. I'm glad no one was injured. Do you have an alternate vehicle?

Please take care of yourself. If there is ever anything I can do, don't hesitate to ask.

Cheer up man. Things will start to look up eventually. I hope everything works out for you in the long run. I am really REALLY sorry to hear of your loss. The emptyness can sometimes be unbearable. But PLEASE keep your chin up!

Try to at least make today a good day!

Don't loose faith for your Cat yet Jeff. I've had cat's all my life and a few over the years did go on "walk abouts". They would travel for weeks and then show up again. Dogs will do this as well.

Hope springs eternal.

Hey Jeff, I hear ya man. Cat's are great friends. They seem to have more human like emotions than dogs in my opinion. I dunno how I'd respond if my cat was missing.
I hope for the best, stay strong

Heck, I've even had birds come walking back to me after being lost for a few days. Just keep a keen eye out and don't give up yet.

Hey Jeff, your cat looks a lot like mine and he has and he has taken his little walk abouts and was gone for over a week and it was a relief when he returned. We lost one of our dogs last year that we had the pleasure of having her for 10 years and came home one day and she was dead on the couch. Loosing a treasured pet is like loosing your best friend, hopefully Socks will return.

Best of luck with all of your problems.

Jeff

I'm sorry about Socks Jeff.

The car, and other stuff will work out, but losing a pet is terrible. I know it will be hollow to you when you read this, but please try to focus on the good. The good times you had together, and the good life you provided.
