Default EHS program - is it really a requirement

is it really required to implement EHS program for companies who are applying for or already practicing ISO 14000? What would be other options to consider to be able to follow ISO's standards without implementing EHS? Thanks.

Yes, I think so because an EHS will help you about the requirements with the environmental policy. A cloud based software may improve a company's management, and regulatory compliance in various ways.

Thanks. Well, yeah, EHS software is indeed an important factor for us to obtain/maintain our ISO 14000 accreditation. The adjustment is tough though considering that our company had manual programs and everything run out smoothly, but that was a couple of years ago. With the advancement and development of technology,we were left with no choice but to adapt with the current trend.

Funny that an EHS thread comes up in here. I work at a plant that makes refrigerators. I don't understand why every single person needs to wear safety glasses. It's pointless.
