True, just don't play any Borgore for your 6 month anniversary romantic evening with your Girlfriend.

"...when we in bed act like a ho, but first, DO THE DISHES!"

Girl: "...you sexist b*****d"
Me: "Thanks for talking through the drop :/"

Thankfully the girl I'm with now also likes Borgore, it's a win-win!

EDIT: That third some you posted is on my ipod :D

Love D&B and jungle, love breaks which are my favorite type of EDM, but I can't bloody stand most dubstep. Occasionally I'll hear a track that moves me, and it always sounds sick to me when a faster paced song breaks into a little bit of dubstep, but the genre as a whole doesn't really do it for me.

Thanks Jimdt7 and Bloompyle, I love how the oldschool style sound from the 90's is in Dubstep today. Elektrofreak add something you like :)

Do you guys like Antiserum?

I also really like Jamaican dub from the 1970's this one has a bit of that in here.

Not really dubstep here but more technoish drum n bass.

How about some ORIGINAL dub from the 1970's from Jamaica. One of my all time favorites! Very good chill music.

Cool! Here's two more then another of my all time favs. Jamaican dub from the 1970's was one of the first styles of music to have a dj and an mc. They also experimented with all kinds of effects early on that influenced everything from drum n bass dubstep and hip hop. The style began after people requested instrumental versions of tracks with heavier bass and drums. This is what the Dub version refers to.

This one is really cool...

It seems lasers and electronic music of all genres go good together! :pop:

I'll start my contributions to this thread by saying that I wholeheartedly concur, in fact I earn a good amount of my income from that heavenly matchup:

And yes I know this isn't a thread about lasers, but EMF asked me to post something I like.. I like lasers, I provide laser shows and promote EDM events here in my city.. and I can't access YT while at work (well, I can but I don't).. I'll post some vids for some of my favorite tracks later on.

 Electrofreak, Those are some amazing pictures! Do you work full time doing laser shows? Maybe that's a career I should think about! Do you get to take any of those lasers home with you at the end of the day? :eg:

Bloompyle: I really like that Skism track! There's so many genuine oldschool samples in that track it brings me back to 1992! I was collecting a lot of vinyl from that era 1992 which was more of the "hardcore ravey sound" and then some from 1993/94-96 which was when the drum n bass sound began to take more form.

Here's the scratchmaster DJ Hype with a clip of one of my favorite sets from 1994. Lol at the styles of clothing back then hehe.

Some more skism for ya ;) Another good favorite of mine.

And oh man, the amount of scratches in that track is ridiculous O.O

Thanks for introducing me to some new stuff.:D I don't have any Skism yet thanks! :p

The scratching isn't actually in the track itself. The better drum n bass DJ's would do live scratching over their sets. DJ hype was one of the better ones at it.

I really like this short documentary on Drum n Bass in England back in the day. There are lot of well known people here and some great clips of some really rare tunes and some live stuff. It's a must see!

He's a little less known, but I like how hard it is, it's slow and hard, sometimes I like that over the quick paced ear-splintering stuff out there. Yeah, I knew that, it's still crazy though. Nowadays on the late night hip-hop stations they bring in a DJ and he will do scratches, but they don't do it "well" Like you're supposed to go back and forth and make some sort of beat out of it. These chumps go once, MAYBE twice, then stop and randomly do it again. No pattern, no rhyme or reason, and frankly, it sounds terrible.

Some Bare Noize:

Not full time unfortunately, but we are busy every weekend all weekend long. And I get to take ALL of those lasers home with me at the end of the day lol.. that's the best part. I built 'em, so I keep 'em. My daughter (she's 3) loves it! I've got these silly frames of dancing cartoon characters that I project on a wall.. she eats it up!
