Luckily there are some really old guys here to make me feel young
Here's a picture of Mom in the kitchen with our new sound system on my first Xmas (1954)
Don't you keep yours in the kitchen?
Peace,
dave
Yeah, for 1954 ads makers, was perfectly logic that anyone keep a bottle carriage with a stereo hi-fi complex and a disc-changer turntable (with only one loudspeakers, and not wired, ofcourse) in the middle of their kitchens, just for the fun to do it .....
..... uhm, wait, but also for the
actual ads makers, is perfectly logic that, as example, someone give a passage to some chimps on his car to the nearest jungle 800Km far away, or do a 5000 Km trip on a sled dog for correct a pair of Esquimese peoples about the name of a candy, just for the fun to do it ..... so, probably, this particular specie of "humans" (ads makers, i mean) is still in the same degree of "evolution" ..... the main difference that i see, is that, at those times, they still had some "feeling" for elegance and scenographic ambientations, where instead the actual ones have lost also this
