I like choosing dog names based on their personality. This is Loki:

So named because he's always very suspicious (as huskies usually are) :D

I had a brown haired dog named Mr. Brown when I was a kid. When living in Santa Fe, NM I was out in the hills and was calling for him for 30 minutes when a guy came out of nowhere huffing and puffing, asking why I was yelling for him. He was a surveyor off in the distant hills working, of course, named Mr. Brown.

How about Rex, or Spot, maybe Fido or Lassie? I think naming a Dog is a very personal thing and a name suits the dod will come to you. Lots of names will coe to you when it chews your shoes! Lol

I want you to suggest names for dogs.

What kind of dog? Boy or girl? Do you have pictures? Are you just thinking about maybe going to the pound and picking out a dog? My best advice would be to go look at the dog(s). Interact with it/them and decide which one you want. Take the dog home and hang out with it for a while. A name will probably come to you. Also, it's not hard to change a pet's name. My dog used to be Goliath. I adopted him when he was three and changed his name to Bruenor. He has similar traits as Bruenor Battlehammer (strong, sturdy and stubborn). I adopted a full grown female stray cat. The pound didn't know her name. She was marked exactly like a cow, so I named her Moo. I discovered later on that Moo was short for Mooch as she will jump onto your lap during meals, grab your fork (mid bite) pull it down and steal what's on it. She actually ate a jalapeno once (all of it). Both animals know what their names are. He responds to Bruenor and she to Moo. Don't feel trapped with whatever you decide, your pets don't care. They will learn whatever word you say when you use it to refer to them. Although, I will say: They remember well. My dog Bruenor had a hard life before me and I've said Goliath a couple of times. When I did, he tucked his tail and bowed his head like he's waiting to get whipped. So, I'd recommend changing their name if you're adopting just to help them shed their old life (in case it was bad). Good luck! :D
