Just picked up my new best friend last week to protect my lady's best friend(s)

Springfield Armory XD-9 (9mm)

Unfortunately I haven't been able to fire it yet as these crazy times make it impossible to find ammo

Yeah, I bought it from someone else (who probably got tired of shelves being empty of 9mm rounds), so I got a decent deal. It was hardly used at all, came with a case, a couple mags, holster and some other accessories.

why dont you have a look at joining a gun club

I'm sure they have a place for getting ammo, plus you would have a license and also you would pwn any idiot that trys to rob your house

@rkcstr: I used to have a Springfield 40 S&W that looked exactly like that. If yours is anything like mine, you'll love it!

Mine was great, but when I would use reloads I had to make very sure to correctly deburr each casing or the gun would jam. It was much more sensitive than any of my other semi-autos. I never had it jam once using store-bought ammo, though..

Yeah, I read lots of reviews and discussion over these and most (if not all) were favorable. For the price, they're supposed to be pretty good.

I didn't really plan on using reloaded rounds (maybe in the future?), since I don't have room for the equipment. Now, if only people would stop buying out the store when they get some in, I might actually get to try it out :-/

I was under the impression that you could get ammo at your local wally world :-?
