So this morning my mom woke me up "Trever what the hell is this, what is this Trever" (shes says she had to sign for the package) Nice wake up you know:yh: but luckily my order got split up (this was an audio cable for my dad luckily) because this was checked by customs. It says "May be opened officially" And then it says the contents:wtf: So how often does this happen were it is checked by customs and you have to sign for it. Because within the next week I have 2 pipes from DX coming and I was hoping that it would just be in the mailbox. I get the mail when I come home from school ;) So please let me know am I completely screwed or do you think it will just show up in my mailbox just like every other DX package did?

Thanks,
Trever

Happened to me a couples of time, most of the time nothing was stolen from it. and one time i was charged 22$ for 4x 18650's as the inspection fee or w/e bullshit.

Once every 20 -25 packages i get, with a message.

So most likely it wont get check? I dont really care if it gets checked. As long as the mail lady dosent knock on the door asking for a signature and the package dosent say its contents.

I think problem #1 is you're shipping packages to your home address that you don't want your parents to know about. :p

Solve that and customs is only relevant unless they seize something. ;)

I have ordered tons of stuff from dx and they always drop a note in the mail for me to go to the post office to pick it up. That is if the mail lady doesn't get a hold of me before she leaves.

In the past few years nothing has ever been checked at all as far as i know.
I have always had to sign for my stuff.

So the issue is that besides customs cutting open your packages, you're worried your mommy is going to find the pipes, and find out her son is using tobacco?

Oh my. :D

Many (maybe most) of the packages that I have gotten from DX required a signature. I have had to sign for the most inane, cheap crap. It is a pain in the arse to have to trek down to the post office to sign for a package that contains a package of clicky switch covers

IIRC having the order broken up into separate shipments increased this.

The random checks by customs are just a fact of life, as well.

Peace,
dave

So pretty much we will have to sign for the next package? And if so does the package says the contents like the one I got today did? I think the only reason it said the contents was because it was check by customs right?
