I just took 2 pictures of a capacitor and you can see one of them on my profile picture.

Tough decision...flip a coin??? ;D Seriously I like the first one better because I can see what you are doing. The second one is a keeper but it looks like it is over exposed too much.

thanks. This was actually taken from a video cause it would be difficult to get the timing right any other way.

Did you notice the FIREBALL at the 12 Oclock position in the second photo??

Looks like TWO FEET away from the center of the Arc!!!

It's almost out of the frame, and it's leaving a SMOKE TRAIL!!!!

I'll see if I can get a better picture of even more voltage discharging!

don't worry about it. I always wear eye protection if I'm using a lot of voltage.



I just got a HUGE spark by putting my more powerful capacitors towareds the negative side.


It made me jump! I got a lot more power just by re-arranging the order of them in series!
