Inside the the blanks there appears to be a piece of white paper stuffed about 2/3 the way down into the shell. I am unsure of the explosive composition, but when fired it does smell like a center fire primer.

The prices at kaehny.de are pretty good, but keep in mind they are in Euros ( 1 Euro = 1.50 USD) and shipping to the USA is $50.88 USD:eek:

They should only fire blanks... but probably can fire #9 buckshot. It would be a dangerous waste of time. Distance and accuracy would be a joke. If you are planning on hunting sparrows or shooting at targets you will be very disappointed.

I don't see why you would need a license for a blank/flare gun... but please check you local and state laws.

(They didn't check my ID and I don't remember being asked my age when I purchased mine.)

I would love to see machine gun replicas that small, like a tiny MP5 or P90. That'd be sweet!

EDIT: post 666

they make a small .22 MP5 rip-off, but the closest thing us civvies can get in the US without a lot of taxes, paperwork, and extra money to a P90 is a PS90, which has a massive barrel sticking out. However, I guess you could put a 10/22 receiver in a small p90 airsoft gun or something... You might need an ATF form 1 though.
