I've never liked Benchmade. To be honest they have very few knives that appeal to me. I'm really picky about how a knife should look and what materials it's made out of. Plus they're ridiculously overpriced. Even their cheaper knives are so expensive that you wouldn't want to use them. That's why I like Kershaw. You don't need to spend hundreds for a quality knife and they're build is worthy of collecting.
My Damascus Leek is a perfect knife IMO. It looks amazing, solid high precision construction, smooth mechanics, and best of all it's very affordable. Kershaw is #1 in my book, and always has been.
