Indeed it takes weeks to make one traditionally & properly, it's no walk in the park. I am sure you will get one, you sound very deserving of one, unlike many I know. You know they say these swords literally choose their owners. So I feel confident one will find its way into your hands. Originally they were once given as a gift when a man was of age and tested worthy of carrying it.

I would love for that to happen. What a gift. I have dedicated a very large portion of my life to martial arts and have the deepest respect for all its branches, and nothing would make me happier than to have a piece of art representing all of my hard work, for 23 years now. The time and tradition that it takes to craft one, would symbolize my time, and tradition I have followed basically my entire life.

Indeed, I've always loved the martial arts, but my practice of them is not nearly as long as yours. So truly I honor that, and you have my utmost respect. I wish you the best wherever that path may take you. I truly believe you'll get one, as long as you believe you will get one. It's a matter of the heart truly.
