I wonder if anyone here has played Call of Duty: Ghosts? I took the game back after 4 days because I think it's garbage, but I want to know what you guys think about the game.

How did you take it back? Last time i checked you cant take games back. Anyways what did you expect, its call of duty.

I traded it in at Gamestop for $37.80. And black Ops 2 started out kinda bad, but nowhere near as bad as Ghosts, and it got much better after a few weeks. The only other CoD where I couldn't destroy people was WaW, but that was mostly because of all of the hackers and modders who ruined that game.
But Ghosts is straight horrible for anyone who enjoys running around playing the game, and not sitting in a corner hardaiming a doorway. And the spawns are straight retardation.

I think the problem here in the first place is Call Of Duty. Battlefield is so much more superior.

Nah, it all depends on your playstyle. If you like to use vehicles, or just have a slower pace in gameplay, then you'll like battlefield. If you like always having to think on your feat, relying on your individual skill, and racking up lots of kills, then you'll like CoD. They're polar opposites. Some of my friends take a break from CoD by playing Battlefield because it's an easier game, and it's not fun playing wannabe pros all the time who sweat all over the place.

If what /r/gaming says is correct, CoD: Ghosts is a steaming pile of Hitler's second coming.
That being said, the last CoD game I played was MW2 so I don't really know...
But I will say that birgirpall makes BF3 look damn fun.

Haha I heard ghosts was a joke. I've never been a fan of any of the CODs, it's way to easy for newbies to be good.

Exactly. It makes me feel like part of an old guard or something. I was with CoD since the PC demo of CoD3. In Black Ops 2, i'd run around with an LMG, the slowest gun in a game where SMGs rule almost everything, and i'd slaughter, yet noobs nowadays only take what's easiest to them because actually using a different gun is hard.

Extinction is fun. you guys are overlooking the campaign and the alien killing parts of the game. if i want to blast a 12 year old i go with battlefield 4 (great multiplayer) but if im looking for enjoyable missions or killing aliens with 3 buddies, i choose ghosts. Battlefield 4 wins out of both however

I played Extinction, and it just felt like a generic alien shooter to me. I loved Nazi Zombies. I'm waiting on the next Treyarch CoD for some more zombie goodness.

It all falls down to personal choice. Red or blue? Steak or chicken? Aliens or Zombies? i was just happy to step away from three generations of repackaged zombies. but hey who knows maybe the next one will be new. the aliens were just a nice touch.

I would play Call of duty for maybe a month and then get bored. I hated how there was no skill involved with the ranking system. I loved Halo 3 and it's whole ranking system, I played for years without ever getting bored. More games need some sort of true skill system for more re-playability.

LOL the BF4 Single player campaign was pure shit. Cod Ghosts single player campaign was wayyyyyyyyyyy more fun then BF4. As for multiplayer i'm a cod fan, but I love BO2 the most. I do some competitive play, and BO2's maps are so good to play on. I beleive Ghosts will take some getting used to.
As for halo i hate it's multiplayer. As soon as i spawn i get 1 shotted by a sniper and when i finally find them i can't kill them because my assault rifle takes 2 clips to kill them!

I'd love it of they put True Skill in CoD games. I'm so tired of getting paired up with lobotomites, while the other team has all good players.

I absolutely suck balls at multiplayer.
I have all the CoD games apart from Ghosts , as I didn't like the look of it.
My main reason for playing though is zombies from Treyarch...I'm second from top rank on that and I play everyday.
But for the true Zombies experience you have to play CoD 5 (World at war) and get the custom maps...amazing.
