I fail this year at getting Christmas gifts for people. I still have yet to get gifts for:

-Mom
-Dad (gift idea didn't fall through)
-One set of grandparents
-Friend who likes mountaineering (it's an expensive sport, I'll probably just find something at REI though.)
-Friend (girl, I don't really know what to get her that wouldn't seem stupid)
-Friend (girl, lives 3,000 miles away)
-Brother's friend (I wouldn't get him something, but he's getting me something. And I don't want to look lame.)

I don't want to spend a lot, I would rather get very fitting gifts that don't cost too much. I am a photographer, so I will probably get my relatives matted pictures of mine.

So, any ideas? My dad likes climbing, but climbing gear is really expensive. My mom likes handmade projects that show a lot of time was put into them.

if she likes to read you could make a book mark out of 2 monkey's fist knots, they are pretty easy to learn and fun to make

I'm getting my girlfriend an iPod nano. For her birthday, I just got her a cute card with a lot of writing, a stuffed penguin, and a kama sutra book. She still sleeps with the penguin.
iPods are always good gifts. Especially with a sexual innuendo something sweet engraved on the back.
;D

But I'm assuming you can't buy everyone iPods.

Umm... Hugs and kisses, candy, and a nice card you make yourself... or... If you have lots of photos of you and your friends and/or family, make a nice photo album.
I can't think of anything else at the moment.

Okay, thanks for your help guys! I went to the mall yesterday and picked up a bunch of gifts. Now, all I have to do is make my mom some matted pictures and find a present for my brother's friend (I don't know why he insists on getting me a gift, but now I have to return one.)

Give your brother's friend. Cheap, different, and if you don't want him to get you a present again it'll be perfect because he'll be afraid of getting another one, unless he really likes hamsters.
You could also give him a beta fish.

That's the kind of thing that requires a lot of parental approval. It has to be non-animate.
