Chinese government blocks paypal /google checkout?

does anyone know if this is true? I have an interested Chinese guy wanting to buy some of my products but he says paypal and google checkout won't work.

i'm trying to convince him otherwise...

anyone know?



I asked him how he normally pays for stuff and he suggested western union... which I will not do. even if it's him sending me the money, I don't want to be doing money wires all the time... it's just shady.

any help appreciated.

I sold two pointers to a guy in Shanghai 3 weeks ago, no problems and through paypal at that. Maybe he found a way to scam western union and is buying a bunch of stuff at W/U or someone else's expense?

cool. yeah I was pretty sure that paypal was worldwide... china having like 10% of earth's people, i would think they could figure out how to pay off the chinese gov to allow paypal.com, or .cn or whatever.

thats odd having someone wire you money first...
lemme guess he mails you a check that you cash and use western union to send him back half of it? :p

if he can somehow get you cash in hand, without something like that happening, it could possibly work. but i'd go with paypal or something with buyer protection

i use paypal with laser wave every time.

they have also sent me fund through paypal :)

yeah i think he is a child or something. he doesn't seem to understand how to confirm his paypal account....

long story short: he is not getting any of my lazors.

If at all possible..... stay away from Western Union...
I can't remember where I saw it right off hand....
but a while back there was a way you could get scammed using WU even if you
received money....

Safest way..... Stay clear of WU.. ;)
