I live about a hour south or Canada. The dollar used to be worth ALLOT more. A few years ago the wife and I woudl go over every other month to shop. Then the exchange was about 1.00 us to 1.80 ca. Was real good for stocking the freezer.

If you want to buy some thing from the US it sucks...
But if you sell some thing to the States in US dollars.. that's great...
@ John... if you buy from Canada your $1.00US will get you $1.15 Canadian
worth of stuff...

over the last few weeks the Canadian dollar has went up about 5 cents us
