I'm not familiar with the group or the music, and I didn't like it (thought it was stupid), but that's just me being generation-gapped I think. When I was a kid, I'm sure that adults hated "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" by the Iron Butterfly. ("What the hell is an 'Innagoddadavidda'? And what the HELL is an 'Iron Butterfly'? PUT MY FRANK SINATRA RECORD ON! And change the channel on the TV - I wanna watch 'Hee Haw'!").
For laser shows, I almost exclusively like Trance, or Trance-like music, or some numbers by Emerson, Lake & Palmer. Or "Totentanz" or similar if I am feeling "dark".

I enjoy dubstep occasionally.
But before I got into any electronic music, I was a big fan of bands like Lamb of God, Darkest Hour, and All That Remains, so that probably explains it.
