Well Im still thinking he may have been in the building up confidence stage, when he posted them on to you, as he may have had bigger plans afoot. Tonyt did exactly the same thing; he won us over being overly generous and kind (well he pretended to be - most were empty pomises/gestures). He strung people a long for as long as he could, whilst he tried to organise GBs and the such. It wasnt until people finally got fed up whith his crap, that they started posting and the veil fell. Perhaps you were lucky, maybe he thought the hosts were std presale units and only worth 20-30 dollars and he had bigger fish to catch, who knows. Yes he did seem irratic, but I still think he had a plan and was playing for time. I am certain of one thing though, had he been discovered before he'd posted your hosts, you would never have seen them. :beer:

That is the thing though, he only posted them 2 days ago. Not sure how long ago he received them, maybe Sinner has some idea on that.

I do hope he keeps his word and gets you the money that he owe's you Sinner!

He received them on a thursday, and promised to post them by monday morning since he gets paid on Sundays, on Monday morning I received the tracking numbers.

that seriously sucks ass.
Don't mean to jump on you but ever thought of living in one of those modern apartment complexes?
Its small , very small ,as in 700-1200 squared ft small but it has 24/7 inhouse security , CCTV and stuff.

I really don't know what to say...... living in the open is good , fresh air , plenty of room , but security wise you're really on your own ......

I mean sympathy to a point but if I didn't misread .... someone sent stuff to him? Why? Cos he SAYS he was robbed?
If so TonyT is an asshole abusing people's trust but man oh man , what the flying fuck man? At least ask for some pictures of what happened.

I don't take people at their word, so my interaction with Rayjay went quite smoothly. He paid me cash moneys and I sent him parts. :)

Just because he did/does some things right doesn't mean he's NOT a scammer. Ped said their IP addresses matched "or it's the world's biggest coincidence". When I look back on things I realised that I'd smelled a rat a few times but hadn't said anything because I never had solid proof. But when are you ever going to get proof until someone does the dirty on ya? A theory some had here is that he was going to gain enough of our trust by doing things/most things right, and then go in for the kill with a big GB. If you do that few times a year under all sorts of different usernames one could be virtually living the high life.

The IP's were similar, say within 100 miles of each other on the map.

I never said they were identical.

Iv'e checked the IP's and you appear to be correct, or its the worlds biggest coincidence.

Could it be somebody who just decided to switch apartments? Wouldn't that change your IP address?

Maybe, unless they have a fixed IP that goes with you.
I did it when I moved a while ago.

You may not have said they were identical but your quoted comment doesn't leave much else to the imagination. Whatever you were inferring wasn't clear as it was understood by - as far as I can see, everyone - that you were saying they were the same.

ISPs will re-use IP address leases so theoretically a new customer can get the same IP which belonged to a past customer. This also brings with it any blacklisting the previous customer may have incurred.

If you knew, or had a strong suspicion, you should have raised it with site management. I was sceptical and so didn't donate - wouldn't be like me to donate for something like this anyway, but even I wasn't overly suspicious.

Yup. My hindsight is 20/20 as well.
