Hey all. Seen a thread earlier about this faucet light and thought about putting up a little Review.:D

The one that is listed in this thread >>Here<< is slightly different from the one i have and "Coast" more. Mine only stays blue. I bought this about 4 years ago at the Discovery Channel store. It coast $14.95 and IMO Its cool.

It lights up the water pretty good when there is a short stream coming out.:p But at a longer stream it is not as solid.

So if you Are going to use it in a small sink type then OK."Like a bathroom or something" But it doesn't really light up that solid with a longer stream. I think this is due to the LED not being that bright and escaping from the clear ring around the Faucet.

Thanks for the review!! I've been looking at these for years and always wondered how well they worked. Don't they make one that changes colors depending on the temp of the water?

:thanks: Guys, Yea DTR Started a thread about them Here>> http://laserpointerforums.com/f57/t...-glow-shower-led-faucet-58196.html#post823504

So i figure i would post mine that i have had for years. :) Thought it would help anyone that is interested in one.

They work OK. The light is Bright in a smaller sinks and in longer stream it is still bright but not as solid. My Camera does not pick up the Light as well. Iam trying to make a video that you all can see the light better.:)

Well dont get too excited if yours is the same as the one I got-- It died after two weeks- the seller refunded all my $$ but I will never buy another one. It needs to do more than just look cool for 14 days IMO. it the 'chrome' part actually plastic-- as mine was.

mine changed color as the water got hotter too- green for cold then to red for hot-

once perfected it will be a great item--maybe yours is a better one- the package is different so.... G L

never took it apart- made a photo with the water on and no working LEDs sent it to the seller- got my $$ back and it is still on there- as just a faucet tip--

have no intentions of buying new batts or trying to repair it. did look cool while it was working on my kitchen sink tho,,,,,maybe I just got a lemon--
