Yeah that 2ft of snow in Big Bear makes for some sweet snowboarding. :D Can't wait to hit the slopes.

And more snow on the way!

the storm just past here yesterday. We didn't get hit hard, only about 15cm of snow. The thing that sucks about these storm is after the storm there is always cold air, tonight we are suppose to hit -35C (-30F) with the wind chill. Not usual where I live but it is a bit early for that cold of a wind chill.

Wind chill temps are -24F where I live!!! To early in winter for this.

Ugh... forecast was calling for somewhere around 2-3 inches last night and today, but we got crap!

Only thing we got was a drop from 40s to 15 and strong winds. It was freakin cold and the water main in front of my house broke :(

OH MAN, RKCSTR, that HAD to really suck !!!!!!!!!!!! rob We had 50mph winds all day today, with sub zero wind-chills. It's WAY too F*****G early for this crap !!!!!!

We are just getting some of the wind today but its only like 20-30mph. And as mentioned earlier we got f*cking rain here in MD...

We're supposed to get somewhere around 6-12 inches here starting tonight after midnight and snowing all day tomorrow.

I hate snow. And the cold. And winter....

I too am supposed to get hit by this storm... I cant wait! I love snow!!!

I think the center of the storm is further south than illinois. now they are calling for 12-24 in

Well, it has begun. It's a light, powdery snow so far. But it's friggin COLD and windy out there. We'll see what's on the ground at sunrise....

I'll think about you and your day off (because you can't get there without wrecking your car), while I'm off for the holidays here in sunny Arizona! It's about 60 in the morning and 70's in the afternoon this time of year. When we want to see snow, we drive about an hour out of the valley, "look, snow", then go home and put our shorts on.

I know, if you have kids (or are a kid), then enjoy the snow. But the rest of what comes with it... Nah!
