They have pictures of Osama,

and a video of his burial. Now the question remains, is it too soon to release them?

Seems to me, that the bad guys will be horribly "offended" anyhow. So I say just release them, and debunk all the "He's not really dead myths".

Oh I do believe he is dead. Pretty sure Osama already has a replacement now too. Seems like cutting off the head of a hydra to me.

Like you say, just get them out and be done with it.

i think the pics will definitely get released at a key time to help Obama with his presidency bid.

Uhm ..... just my usual half cent, as playing devil's advocate .....

1) MAYBE someone killed Osama, but til i don't check myself

2) USA have NOT (technically) satisfied all the precepts (obligations ? ..... traditions ?) of a muslim funeral, that, as far as i remember, say that deads must be inhumatd in the earth, including persons died in the sea (there was something about also a drown must be recovered and buried in the ground, not left in the water, so technically this part can be used as excuse for start some revenge)

3) al Quaeda is not dead just cause Osama is dead (if is) ..... they may have killed a boss, but an organization like that one does not have a single boss, never.

4) there are stills voices that claim that 9/11 was not happened as the "official" history say ..... it was much better, imho, to catck him alive, and constrain him to speak about all (but i understand that a dead man cannot contradict "official" versions nor add "uncomfortable" details to an already-settled story, so, probably, a plan for catch him alive was not an option from the beginning :eg

There was another few important point, about Osama money and about what happens, now, of all his money and affiliates and accounts ..... just as example, Hawala network, 16 known Arabic businessmen (and not known others) joined to his affairs, drug commerce, diamonds commerce, Al Tawqa and Al Barakaat companies, the 54 companies that USA seized funds for being implicated with Osama (or claimed to help him and managing his money, at various levels), and few other less important details ..... but i see that the news don't mention all this, so probably is not a relevant detail, this last one
