I just heard about it on my local radio station. Interesting.

As for DNA sequencing. It would be very complicated. Primates and Humans are so similar that you'd need to look at certain variable sequences. You'd have more luck looking at the chromosomes and comparing them to other primates and humans. You'd find out more on its evolutionary path that way.

Opossum DNA? lol. I was gonna say 'there are no marsupials in North America' but that's the only species of them. So, I guess it IS possible of a contamination.

But yeah right. It is a publicity stunt to sell more bigfoot stuff, and boy, did it work brilliantly :D

Hand the "beast" over to an established scientific facility and end it, if it is bigfoot, dumb Georgian hunters (no offense to anyone in Georgia), probably shot a guy in a costume now their covering their asses...

Not really surprising though, just agitating.

What would it take for you to realize it is a hoax? Would the hunters have to admit it? Would the FBI have to break down their door and produce the costume?

Here's some more fodder for you. The "underground railway" for YETIs has called for the immediate evacuation of all YETI in Georgia! If they get them out of there fast enough, there won't be any more to be captured or harmed when even more people begin to "hunt" them.

So don't worry about a thing. We'll continue to protect this VERY endangered species from the public.
