Yeah, I worded my thread wrong.
I meant to say the best single 123A cell light.

In case someone wants a really good (and not just quite good and quite cheap) 1xCR123A flashlight: the one which I selected after a lot of research and time spent on Candlepowerforums and other places is the Liteflux LF3XT, available e.g. from kaidomain. If programming is your thing, get it!

For that price?!! I am just going to stick with the Ultrafire MCU-C7 Q5 Light. THis thing only costs $12.99 and I will have to be that it's every bit as good as that one...minus the programming.

Can you dim it continuously? Does it have an ultra-low mode which gives light for a week (yet is bright enough for finding your way in darkness)? Does it have a lock-out capability? Does it have underdischarge protection for various types of rechargeable batteries? Does it.... never mind; it's the one I selected, others have different needs, wishes and priorities

EDIT: Just spent another $13 to order the clip (it didn't exist when I bought it) :cryyy:

Not really, but why do you need all of that in a flashlight? IMO that sounds like a waist.
I only use protected cells, so I really don't have to worry about the discharge.

"others have different needs, wishes and priorities "
Very true.:) I personally don't see a need for this type of light to be able to run for a week strait. Even if I wanted it to, I would just replace the driver in this one that has all of those features on it, still for much less than what that light costs.

GRANTED YOUR LIGHT DOES LOOK REALLY NICE AND I AM HAPPY THAT IT WORKS OUT WELL FOR YOU.:)
