The best custom DS lite ever?

Well as some know I was going to build a custom DS. And without being all pretentious i think it looks amazing.

The DS top was sanded flat and custom painted and the rest is mixed and matched from parts with some more painting!

Inside has the bottom half black with gold buttons and the top half is gold with black border...

let me know what you guys and gals think. And no I am not a fanboy I just love the triforce shape and some of the Zelda games...

Pic of the front (it was a white ds case- spray painted several times with gold and then painted several times on top of that with matt black paint to give the triforce we have there. Its not a sticker or transfer just the under layer showing through the black.

I dont think so its good stuff... its spray on so i don't see it flaking or coming off any time soon....

R4DS, that's some good stuff However I never managed to choose which theme I would have, as the cart itself seems to randomly choose themes [smiley=undecided.gif]

Really nice DS, though

i hate to say it but that other one does look nice.... im wondering if i should have done it the other way round...

and not bothered with all that painting but just used the stock gold case...

I didn't mention I sanded those annoying raised DS humps flat so its matt black with metallic gold paint and perfectly flat!
