Thank you for the compliment, I have so many vids that I take when playing with this cool stuff, what else to do with them but make a gif. And just for the record, I try to keep them super compressed and under 2mb. Anything more and they start to impede things

Hey wannaburn! Do you see any real difference between your True DX 50 and DX 50? Also how do you power the DX stage 100 mW Green?

The difference between the true 50 and the 50 is luck! All four units suffer mode switching, and low end laser anomalies. I’ve had to break all of them down and swap parts to get 2 decent pointers, which I should have got from the 2 true units in the first place. As for the 100mw, ive put as much as 6.4vdc but no matter 5-6.4v the board has to be heat sinked. The first time I powered it up; it was smoking at the resistors and the mosfet and only giving 20mw of green! The plus was that the diode stayed cool but the power supply had to be reworked. After about 8 hours of tlc im getting a smooth 50mw, but have to change the driver board to accommodate it, I had better luck and similar output from the stage 35.
