I couldn't help but to think about the CEO of Wicked Lasers as I watched that.

Besides the emotional "damage" that he seems to be unable to avoid (because he takes internet complaints and insults to heart), financially, Steve did just fine with the Arctics ;)

I'm glad Wicked has done well financially with their latest & greatest, they achieved an amazing thing.... arguably of course. There's no love lost from me for WL (nor Steve) but I do feel bad for them knowing the infamy that's still building behind the whole S3 launch hence my poor taste in humor tonight... In short, I mean no disrespect!

2 words. F**k that!!

I've worked on buildings that high, and you could not pay me enough to jump off.

 I wonder how avoids getting impaled by the glass shards.

That would be a hell of a rush but I would like to do it without being on fire.

I am pretty sure they use breakaway glass.

Edit

Looked at the video again. There are some pretty big chunks of that window floating down with him. But it is definitely special glass they put in otherwise the guy would have just bounced off not going through the glass. That stuff they use in building is strong as hell.

When I was a young man, I used to skydive. It is, without a doubt, the most "exciting" thing I have ever experienced (when no one was going to die that day).

But do you have your red wings???

True story. I've always wanted to sky dive, but didnt like the price. My BFF's sister was high up in the military, and said she could make it happen for free. 2 days before the leap I chickened out. :yabbem:

I'm too fat and stiff to do it anymore, :(

But the memories will last until the Alzheimer's kicks in :tinfoil:

I went in 93, went assisted free fall. Go up 2 miles, free fall for 1 mile, open chute and float the other. You have 2 people go with you in case you freeze or screw up and they will help you out. Better than a tandum. The part that got me the worst is when you first jump out of the plane. You get some serious butt pucker! It was a rush! I would do it again! At that time it cost $165 and another $30 if you get it video taped.
I had it taped, but the camera screwed up so I got my $30 back! I would rather of had the video.

LORDY NO!! Those guys had to work for a living.

I was in the "Security Police" in the Air Force.

The Vietnam conflict was "on" at the time, but we kept all of the "strategic bombers" many hundreds of miles away from the bad guys. :thanks:

dave
