Thats a massive wave of dust! estimated at 40 million tonnes of dust!
Mud bath anyone?!?!
On Saturday night I thought it was finally clearing, but woke up on Sunday to find it almost as bad as the first day. Haze is expected here for a while longer yet ...

Man, that looks awesome. I'm sure it must be a pain in the ass to clean it up though. Like, does the dust scratch stuff like the paint on your car?

Sure does!! but in sydney we were lucky because the dew in the morning made little raindrops of dust all over everything.. this stopped the dust being blown over and scratching cars.. but people had the smart idea of running their finger all over peoples cars and writing words on them (and pictures too ) and that left scratches!
) and that left scratches!
