Kinda derailed the futurama thread, but I'm curious since I couldn't find a similar thread.


Who all out there likes watching anime? What ones?

Some of my favorites are

Death note
Steins;gate
Sword art online
Attack on titan
A certain scientific railgun (season 2 is much better than season 1)
Toradora

...and many more...

I watched death note, didn't know it was anime :p

Any other good ones out there? Death note was fantastic.

All the ones I listed are all pretty damn good-- though I dunno if any have english dubs. The subtitled episodes usually are better since the voices fit the characters better.

I'd shoot for Steins;gate right now, and in october go for attack on titan when its finished.

Have to see if they have any English dubs, I'm very fidgety and I like to work on other things while watching shows, so having audio is a must :p

Heh that makes it a lot harder, most of the "popular" shows get dubbed while many "good" shows didn't make the cut. Though IIRC sword art is being dubbed right now.

I've seen Samurai Champloo and Full Metal Alchemist but not the brotherhood ones. I heard some saying they enjoy it better because it's a bit more serious.

I recently started keeping track of everything I watched, here.

Pretty nifty! Anything with a 10 I highly recommend ;)

Edit: I still have a lot of good stuff to watch...

One piece! very funny lol-- Luffy and the crew---
and some of those oldies were good-
the death note moral dilemma-- is it ok to let someone kill if he is killing off bag guys ? would we stop him today if he was killing Taliban and people like kony?

Are you also reading naruto? The manga isn't too far ahead of the anime actually. Lotta crazy stuff happening. Craaaazy stuff.
