Found this, and a few other, ammonite during my Nepal backpack trip.

I want to release the ammonite from the stone. Is it possible with simple tools?

I got a Makita and some other stuff (no dremel). Which adapter(s) would you recommend me for this endeavor?

i love ammonites!

a lot of fossil preppers will use little ultrasonic drills (like what dentists use) to separate the fossil from the matrix.
