ANGRY! movie madness!

So me and my girlfriend went to go watch saw V today. I'm 17, shes 16. She'l be 17 in a bit over a month from now. So we got the tickets (her dad bought them) and made it to the person that rips your tickets. She asked for ID, i handed her mine, she glanced and gave it back, then she took my girlfriend's from her hand and stared at it for a few seconds, then you see her counting, and she says "so your 16?" and my girlfriend says "yes but I'll be 17 in less than 2 months." Well it ended up being a back and forth thing about "you cant go in the movie." Finally she called her dad who was in another movie, he tells the girl that he was already in Saw V and it's ok for her to watch, and we proceed into the movie. Well not even 5 minutes later while we are sitting down, the girl appears behind us and tells us we need to get out unless her dad is in here. We had to get out, the girl had talked to like 2 or 3 different people, 2 being managers. Why the hell was it so important to this girl that we dont watch the movie? So we ended up seeing a horrible movie.. i dont even remember the name of it, it had a girl's name in it. The movie was about everyone trying to kill this girl and in the end they live happily ever after, it was very confusing and a horrible movie.
So my and my girlfriend are mad cuz we didnt get to see Saw V...
...I'm looking for a TS RIP from the internet, usually about 700mb, cant find one yet, anyone know where I can get one?

My girlfriend and I weren't able to watch Saw V, ended up watching a terrible movie, and I'm wondering if someone has a non-video recorded link to Saw 5? one of those high quality releases.

wow I haven't been carded since I was 15 lol I think axxo or someone may release it here in a few days

Here's a pointer that might help you out. It's generally not considered "polite" to ask someone if they are ugly, even (here's the shocker) over the Internet. Now, besides the callousness behind this comment, how would someone's appearance in any way affect whether or not they are allowed admission to a movie?

Maybe the theater had just been visited by the authorities.  Maybe the ticket taker had an ego problem.  Maybe some over zealous community activist had threatened the theater over the movie.  Maybe some really young kids had been caught earlier after sneaking into the movie.  Maybe the manager was having a bad breakfast day.  Maybe they just really didn't appreciate you trying to trick them with the "Dad" call.

Don't take it personally.  There are a myriad of other factors that could have influenced how "hard" they were being about the age restriction.

Bottom line here is:

You were trying to get around the legal age restriction.  You got caught.  Suck it up.

yeap, happened to me once, i just chose another movie...it sucked but wth...

these two are not ugly, at all...and they look like teens, they would've been asked for some ID.

saw 5 was pretty good, i just saw it last night.,.. didnt get carded either. matter of fact ive never been carded for a movie

Well see im 14 and ive never been carded and i dont have a card yet lol. people say i look 17-19 so thats probably why. And if your good looking then they wont take it a suspicious, and if you were to look like a hillbilly then they would def want to see it.

I guess gray hair is considered attractive then. I haven't been carded since the gray started to come in.

well, not me, my girlfriend, I'm 17. Apparently I need to be 21 to have her watch with me.
The manager tried to compare watching a movie to being only 20 years old and not being able to go into a bar. Seeing a rated R movie and illigally drinking are quite different.

Normally my girlfriend can get in any movie cuz she has boobs lol. Most people would think she's older, but being that it was a skinny blonde girl checking us that may be the reason why.
The girl's personality was that of the typical blonde who tries to be perfect.

Well, the main reason I'm mad is cause she barely even looked at my ID but she took lots of time to look at my girlfriend's. Is it a girl thing? trying to create enemies with other girl's? lol
