Angelo is missing since 04-15-2014: any notice about him ??

At the end of the year 2013 I have bought from Jayrob the C-mount red stubby project, and from DTR the 4W diode.
A very expensive build.
For reasons, the diode LEDed at the second lighting.

So, I asked to Lazereer his new -almost- completed ramp-up driver, a new diode, and I have sent him part of my laser (heatsink+driver+diode).
I have sent him also 1/3 of the total amount needed to repair and complete the laser.
But Angelo disappeared after few weeks.
So, I appreciate his disposability and kindness, but when I start a project for a guy:

1) I communicate him the time needed, more or less, to complete the whole process;
2) I write a little message to the person like "do not worry, I'm busy, I return ASAP" after a certain amount of time.

So, if a delay of 69+ days is already happened in the past with Angelo and this is normal, I could accept and wait again, but if this is the first time that happen, I might start to worry seriously.

I can understand your frustration, but really I wouldnt worry Angelos is a very honest and upfront guy. I have had many dealings with him and he has always followed through. :beer:

Don't worry he is probably super busy. I have been in communication with him since January when I shipped him my 593.5nm laser for an attempted repair (I smoked it good)

I got an email from him 2 weeks ago and have been expecting one since but not gotton one.
This is normal for him as he is always busy.

Plus he had all his wisdom teeth pulled so after that ordeal it would take a little time to heal. If you want quality stuff then sometimes you have to be patient which you are so good on you.

He has stopped answering my e-Mails. The last message from him was dated Jun 5th.

I can understand everything, but not the total absence of any message, also generic to all users, with a little explanation of that silence. "Respectful" in his signature could means also this.

I took a break from LPF as i was dealing with alot of stuff the past couple months. I wont openly say the stuff as
some of the stuff are private things but if its something i need to share to you for proof i will in PM.

So i have not taken any projects on "LPF Wise" Since then.

Only your project. "Besides one other that i have on going with someone else but he knows me by now and not to worry.

Ive been going through alot of crap these past couple months and was plaining on returning Next week as i finally cleared
everything up that Ive been goeing through.

When you add all the work i have in the real world and problems together then add all the Online work (Making drivers to keep the forum happy) (As
like i said i have not taken any projects on just what i normally have + a few side orders for friends as i new i was extremely busy and had things to take care of) I just need to break off the forum for a little.

Most know for these past couple months if you needed me you would go through my email. I could have sworn i gave you my email for this.


As for paying 1/3. Yes but As i said to you in the beginning I dont like to take payment in advance. Especially at that time but you offered to pay
for the diode So i just said send 1/3 if you like. Iam sure though your not stressing that. But none the less...

Anyway I had thought you had my email and i was waiting to get the other parts in from you and the item from LG.

None the Less I apologize for my lack of communications. Totally my fault with no excuses.

Ive been getting beaten up this year.. I just cant find to catch a break on it. Its one after another after another. Sucks. Iam hoping that its all done after i cleared everything i needed to this past couple months.

I must be honest, and this is incredible, I have, more or less, Your identical troubles: father with heavy health problems, a water pipe broken, the business that driving me crazy, and as usually a lot of laser projects broken (DTR know what I means ... ).
But since I work with computers, I cannot avoid to check everyday the forum and check If You are come back
