you must try this! i would take a video of it but i don't have 3 arms, so turn your thing on, (i have no clue what its called) put your hand on it so that most or all of the lightning bolt looking things are going into your hand, and with your other hand grab your computer mouse and slide it over some thing that you can click on such as a link to a website. without even clicking on the link you will follow it. sometimes i don't even have to touch the mouse for it to work!

That can't be good! So, the static current flows through your body and activates the switch in the mouse?

I'd be really careful with those. I had one blow up once (mind you we DID shock it with a Tesla Coil  ::) ) the outer glass imploded and then the inner ball thing blew up, sending shards of glass everywhere.  :D

That seems like it would be FREAKING AWESOME!

My cousin had one of those, and there were a pair of scissors on the floor, I picked them up, put them on it and touched the metal part, hurt like hell. It wasn't a shock either, it was just really hot. Lol at this video.

I removed the globe on mine. Now it emits a purple arc that can cut through stuff and set things of fire!
And if you touch it, it burns your skin and hurts a lot.
I like it.
I used it to start the stove, to light candles, kill flies, and I have a video of it burning stuff somewhere in the multimedia section.
It's lots of fun.

Oh yeah, the arc will travel through flames. If you hold a butane lighter to it and release the gas, it'll light it up and then the arc travels through the flame to the lighter.

AND
If you hover it above ants (without electrocuting and toasting them) it makes them stop moving. It looks like there's a bunch of pressure on them. Then when you remove it they run around, of course.

AND
If you hold a light bulb to it, it does the same thing as when it had the globe thing on it.

AND
If you break the glass on the light bulb and stick he filament into the arc, it glows really really bright. And burns.

Thats all.

Oh no!  Did the plasma escape??   ;D

No, silly. Everybody knows when you turn anything with plasma off, the plasma runs backs into the power supply. It's really just a container to hold the plasma while you're not using it. Power supply on, plasma back where you want it. Power supply off, plasma back inside the box waiting for you to need it again.

Duh. :p
