thanks. I have 3 other capacitors that I didn't use cause they are rated different and they make the effect worse when I hook them up to the ones in the video.

I add 5 more volts to each to make it work better. The room gains a sweet smelling musty metal odor after discharging several times.

I can also use these capacitors to make hydrogen from water. Put the Positive and negative of the capacitor circuit in water really close together and you'll see bubbles come off the negative wire, this is hydrogen. And the positive will have oxygen bubbles. You will see much more hydrogen than oxygen though. Most of the time, the positive wire will rust rapidly in 10 minutes or so.

hehehe i agree with the little text under your avatar! capacitors are awesome fun, but can i also remind people that they can be very deadly, aswell as blow the end of your screwdriver off, as i found out from experiance ;D

hey things, your right about it being dangerous.

But dangerous things can be super fun if your prepared for the unexpected.

Pyrotechnics are fun and I'm sure everyone here can agree that they like seeing things burn or exlode.

The bolts in the capacitor are made of some kinda soft metal and they will chip really easy. The more brittle the metal it iks, the better. ;D
