that would depend on what's broken... I really doubt it, because if you broke your fob you probably broke the thing that actually sends a car-specific signal, and I'm pretty sure most car fobs work at all different frequencies to avoid interference. They simply work in the ~315 band I'm guessing.

The carrier frequency is 315mhz... but there is no data on that carrier
wave...
When you press a button on your remote a certain series of pulses are
sent out (depending on which button was pressed) and decoded by the
receiver so the receiver knows which button was pressed.

Without knowing the pulse sequence and timing that linked module will
not help you...

My suggestion----> Buy yourself a manufacturer specific replacement FOB...
