$200 USPS Rant RESOLVED

So yea, title says it all. Bought an NDG700 (215$) diode and it's supposed to be here today (Monday 14) and there is absolutely NO sign of it moving, still at the facility. $215 is definitely not getting away, any suggestions on what I should do? Will keep updated.

(mon. 14)UPDATE : I have checked my mail of today and found nothing.
(Tue. 15) UPDATE: ITEM ARRIVED AT Destination facility. Out for delivery.

By facility, do you mean the USPS sort facility?
Is it the one near the seller or the one near you?
When was it first shipped out and by what method?
Is it in an area where they have had storms/bad weather because that slows down or stops package movement.

Yes the USPS sort facility near the seller.
It was shipped first class package.
IDK it's shipped from DTR at saint Louis MO
(I think)

Normally DTR's package arrives 2-3 days. (As far as people say)

Mine is doing the same thing! BUT it moved FINALLY to Mass, but seems to still be taking forever, it was suppose to be here last friday on the 11th. :/

Edit: Obviously it's slow due to Christmas time, I'm actually waiting for three lasers right now and they are taking forever but if your package is anything like mine, this Post Office will hold it 5 days before even moving it. :/

It is now late enough in December that they are overloaded, don't worry about it, you just have to wait, don't bother to complain to anyone, there's nothing that can be done.

I will just have to see what happens, might have to wait a while and delay the build. Was really hoping I could build and lite it up today but it seems not possible. Thanks for every help.

Got a package from DTR today. Got here in 3 days. I'm in Ca. So what we call storms, you guys call light rain. Motorcycle weather today.

yeah i ordered something from a state away with 2 day prority and it shipped sat. It normally says expected date of Monday.

They had Tuesday and Didn't update it till they got at the sorting near me then it says Monday. My advice order stuff before USPS has the crazy holiday rush where things don't update for a week on tracking.
