I picked up the end of an I-beam that was way to heavy, and fractured some disks in my back, plus tore some nerves. I filled out an accident report and went to the hospital. Later I found out I was fired, and they threw the report away. Because I was a sub-contacter I got screwed out of a lawsuit. I've developed arthritis in my back and fibromyalgia since then. So I'm kind of F'd up.
