I'd do the same thing, Jerry. Trouble is, it hurts my back too much to do that. So I'll have to settle for LMAOSD (sitting down) lol rob

I guess it's unlikely that many of the members that "use" the forums for purposes of lame entertainment (some seem to feel this site is as useless as 4chan) will ever contribute funds to LPF. Those people give little thought to anything beyond the internet access they take for granted, and which their daddy pays for. Some of them don't stay long, but I wish others would join and realize what this forum is really about, and help a little here too.

Those of us that do this thing once a month do so toward (and solely in mind of) supporting Avery's efforts and helping to cover the costs associated with keeping this farm running. We do so because we feel it's worth it. I did so the 1st time without knowing Avery would "+rep" me for it, and in fact knew nothing about the rep system. I've done so since without regard to the rep system, although some members got very much carried away with that whole subject, coming just short of suggesting that donating members do so for the admin's praise. Other than monetary donation, I would gladly donate rep points to you who feel they're of such high virtual value.

I don't contribute the caliber of DIY knowledge as many of the veterans do here, but my advocacy of the fun, and some oohs and ahs (photos, experiments) of the beauty of a good laser is intended to offer the curious some idea of what an awesome hobby this is. As well, I think that the veterans and the experienced also appreciate these small contributions to the forum's value as a research place.

As an "appliance operator" (haha), I have learned a bit about these instruments, and quite a bit about related subjects. I've offered a few "cool" ideas and useful posts. Some are outside LPF and snagged some interest and curiosity about lasers and optics. I know I've also fed some trolls and rubbed a few of you the wrong way (in return).

Anyway, I sincerely hope the best for LPF, thus offer another donation.

Thanks, and much appreciation guys!

I'm sorry, Sir. This is the ADHD thread. If you are going to write long posts containing more than one paragraph, you are going to have to

I just noticed that I have spent almost 10k through paypal since I opened the account.

I can only spend $31 more or link it to the bank account some other way than my debit card.

I will go open a savings account, I learned to never link it to my checking, my checking account has overdraft credit, and if I lock horns with someone, they get the money even if I don't want them to.

anyways, I just helped ave pay the bills. felt good.
