Wow... i don't really understand why you guys like blue lasers so much because it's just blue..

It's either that or 589nm but the CNI Gb makes more sense for that! Plus a lot of people here don't get the exotic colors for their first laser. More like their 4 or 5

Ok guys, just updated the list!

Seems like the Spyder II will get more votes than the Spyder III in the end :p

Just in case, here are the two hosts:

I think that the Spyder III is a superior host. A high powered yellow would be be nice in one of those. Bill

Yeah, I would have to say Spyder III is better simply because it's bigger = better heatsinking.

Also, I think you've forgotten to put me on the list for 5mW 473nm Niko.

As both are FDA compliant, I think it would be OK to get either Spyder, are you listening Santa? -Glenn

Btw Niko, could you ask Wicked Lasers if they can make the package nice and discreet, perhaps even like a plastic tab hidden in the battery compartment to make sure it won't turn on until you remove it?
I may be a little over the top with this, but I just wouldn't want to lose it to Customs.

Byrnz, I added your request, sorry for not seeing it before.

The laser does not come with batteries nor charger, so there's 0,00 probability of it turning on during shipping :p

Lol I don't mean I'm worried about it turning on during shipping. I'm worried about Customs turning it on and testing it's output. Although I doubt they'll have a spare 18650 battery on hand...I guess I'm just being a little over the top lol.

Erm... I don't think they're allowed to USE the product like that. It's like if they were able to try on some t-shirts to verify their size.

Also, so far there weren't any problems with customs, at all. They even got into Australia with no problems. EDIT: Just realized you are indeed from Aus. You needn't worry, man, blackspirit got his. Also, they guarantee delivery or your money back.

Australian Customs now test the output of all handheld lasers coming into the country which is annoying.
Yeah, if Blackspirit's laser can get through then I'm sure Customs won't be concerned about a little 5mW laser :p

Hey Nikko,

I'm new to the group buy thing. Won't have my money ready for another round or two.

Are we permitted to use wicked bucks on the purchase?

No, this is a forum exclusive GB and money must be sent via PayPal, sorry :(

Don't worry, there will be enough time for you to have your money ready.
