I'm looking to buy an 532nm 400mW torch and I would rather buy it from CNI then o-like, And optotronics is a bit pricey for me.
So any ideas on when GB 7 is going to start?

Could be a little while yet, GB6 has suffered a few delays, and I would think that Glenn will want to see the back of that one before starting another.

You will be doing yourself a favour by waiting:-

I will get a "sample of a PGL III to test for several days to try to prove to myself the PGL III trouble is over, then with positive results things can return to normal,

True, I will be testing a PGL III unit again before long, and I'll report on how it does. -Glenn

thanx for the replies, I do now know how you guys can wait for these group buys, maybe its cause you have lasers already.

ya I know but I want a higher quality laser then rayfoss, I've read they tend to hop mode. I guess I will have to wait or I might just jump on the optotronics GB.

that would be smart!!! I was in on the 5th CNI GB and they sent me 5 defective PGL III's... im done and would suggest you go with opto if at all possible :) plus jack WILL allow you to use his upgrade system with the RPLs from the group buy :D

Here's hoping CNI will allow their new yellows in a GB! Depending on prices, I want one!

This is true, but what you pay, (less $ for a GB unit) affects the trade up credit of course! Still it's a great option, how many of us buy a 100 mW and later decide what would be just right is 250 or 360 mW?

I hope to place a Opto GB by the end of Dec, and also the next CNI GB about then as well. Thanks friends -Glenn
