CLOSED DUE TO LACK OF INTREST

Hey everyone.

I have just got a fantastic deal on uvex safety goggles!

Here is the link to them: Laser Goggles, LS6, Nd:YAG, Harmonics, Argon, 532nm, Excimer, CO2, 40% VLT,Glass

They usually cost over $800 a pair!

But if 5 people want them they will be $210 INCLUDING Worldwide Shipping
And for 10 its NOW ONLY $140 shipped for US and Aussie buyer's and $150 for the rest of the world!

Also, this GB won't take weeks or months to finalize.. Once all the payments have been recieved you will have the goggles in your hands within the week for US buyer's. A little longer for the rest of the world.

These are professional safety goggles and are certified at:

OD> 6+ @ 1050-1064nm
OD> 7+@ 190-532nm
OD> 4+ @ 10600nm

So they are fantastic for Ultraviolet through 445nm to 532nm and are also rated for IR.

Let me know if anyone wants some as i only have until the 1ST Of July Australia time.

Just post here if you want them and i will add you to the list.

Also, if this GB goes well the guy i am getting these off will offer me some other ones they have that block the red spectrum for a bit cheaper than these.

PEOPLE IN GROUP BUY:

The fact these are many times better than eagle pair.

Also, here is the chart..

So as you can see.. They do have "some" protection at 808nm.. Around OD2+

So I get OD 2 at 800+ Sadly thats no good at 10W+ for me.

Firelaser: I consider Eaglepair as the hobbiest safety glasses. These are more of a professional use and offer more protection at OD7 and higher quality.

oh ok, i just figured eagle pair were the best for most cases, i guess these when working with very powerful lab lasers? i know eagle will work for a few watts of blue ,, but if you did get 10 people the 180 price is much more reasonable

No problems, you are added.

And you are right, eagle pair are ok for the hobbyist.. I have seen these exact goggles take a direct hit from a 3000mW laser for a long time without even melting through.
From UV - about 550nm these are rated at almost OD8! Which means a 1000mW beam is reduced to 0.000001% which is 0.001mW! If you like your eyes.. these are the goggles you want.. And they also make you look like a mad scientist!! :yh:

lol well they do look cool, but the ones i have are sufficient for the lasers i have, once i can afford the crazy power lasers then im sure getting these would be no problem

Thats good though the safer option would be to get the glasses THEN the laser. Doesnt make sense yhe other way around.

Indeed, You get the best in protection.. Then you can get any laser you want from then on.. No use in buying a fantastic laser then saying to yourself "damn i wish i got those $800 goggles for $200 when i had the chance!" and not being able to safely use it until you buy some..:yh:
