Gray(& JETL) deserve the compliment- It sure feels nice in my hand and I think it is waterproof too-- at least it is for sure water-resistant.
And at the GB price of 220$ it is a lot of bang per buck.

I hope they will have these in stock soon. Isaac got the only one available atm. I want one for sure.

Maybe JETL will do 445nm and 12X 405nm in Titanium(hint hint!!!)

I thought I had a serious prob w/ my LB1 but after I sent all the lasers out from the GB i checked and it was only a loose connection at the plug-in. I would have liked to have metered all of those with both meters- and The lasersbee shows peak better. I did remeter the 650nm PL-C- 250 that Gray offered in this GB for 260$ -(reg. price $500) It was sold to me as a 250mW but the LB shows a peak of 384mWs of sweet RED!!! The best I had before this one was only 100mW red labbies. so this is a big jump for me.

One thing I did notice- on the second round of PL-C 250mW 532nms- some of the better brand 18650s(black AW from Lighthound) are a very tight fit--too tight for me to risk having a problem getting it back out. The cheapies slide in and out w/ n/p.
Anybody have a suggetion to remedy this???

Hey, I have a question about batteries...will the cheap batteries Rayfoss sends bring out the potential of my laser or will I need to get a different, higher quality battery?

When freshly charged I think there may not be much diff. but quality batts seem to last longer IMO. For those photos I took of your Ti I used Ultrafires.(blue)

Hi Boosted;

The Sanyo batteries I have are U.L. tested for shorts, overcurrent and overcharging.

They also have the lowest "internal resistance" of many different brands I have tested.

You Jetlaser will have a 2 watt IR diode which will draw ~3amps.

Many protection PCB's will start limiting current close to this level.

The Sanyo cells will deliver this current easily.

Fubata boosted his 350mw green with these Sanyo cells:

Know this- the AW 2600mAh from Lighthound are top shelf quality but at 17.39mm are a VERY tight fit- my cheapie 'yellow' A123 from ebay fits easily at 17.12mm and the pinkish one sent to me by Luke(yobresal) NDHFJ32- is 17.06.

So a good question to ask before buying the sanyos(or any others) would be...How big are they?.... I dont know if it is a bad idea to peel of the outer plastic layer on These larger batts.

I do know that I would not like to try to enlarge the ID of my new PL-C. The larger size 18650s fit fine on the first PL-C that I got from JETL.

IF I place my caliper just below the silver label I get 17.14mm.

If the outer layer of plastic can be removed w/o causing a short etc then maybe the AWs will fit . I guess This could be verified with meter.

DUHHHH!! I just peeled the silver label from my AW and now it fits OKay..So I think you will be ok.

Yeah, unfortunately my measurement was also taken below the fancy silver label. IDK why there's so much discrepancy between 18650 cells. I do know is my laser is coming in today and I ain't gonna be able to play with it.

Ill just d/l the lightsaber app for my Droid and wave them both around like a jackass listening to the cool noise. Hmmmmm..........wonder how many of you guys have already done that with yer smartphones!? LMAO cuz I bet its quite a few.

Well I hope the Sanyo cells I bought fit it.. I wanted to use those instead of the Tenergy cells...
