I make firm tommytoes into salsa... it's strong stuff, tough to eat without a lot of brittle chips and a firm grip on a hard bottle of beer.

It is not likely to be a 12x diode. Right now it would be by some miracle... Dave (daguin) already mostly debunked it as being the same sled as in the old HD-DVD players (not the Xbox one) and likely a diode that is weaker than the 803T. However, there are some minor differences, so it *may* be a different diode, but still not likely any more powerful than we already have available.

i sold them sence every one said they were not the 12x sleds :(, so i have one extra comeing with my 803 sleds

The sleds are identical. Only the diode is different. The so called 12x's don't have BO323 stamped on them.

But since those are HD-DVD readers, it's impossible the same sled would be used for a writer from the future...


It is strange, that those sleds are sold on ebay for $165 for a lot of 10, while these cost double from the supplier tho.. There obviously is a difference, but probably not the kind that would help us any..

I was just wondering how he managed to get rid of them all, the moment things turned bad..
