How much shipping to poland cost? I need a 1W c-mount LD for my green module which burnt out.

My package arrived on thursday, May 7th. As Chris promised, it was LOADED with goodies!

I've spent the past few days just sorting, and testing the "junk diodes" that look to be testable. Those with broken bond leads, or dies broken loose, I set aside for later possible repair/testing. I ordered 6 oz, he sent 8.26 oz! Nice bonus for sure. I really love all of the new 9 mm mounts in there, ready to be used for new LD chips. Some look like they even have heat spreaders installed! In that batch, I discovered what looks to be a prototype, with 5 large (look to be 2-3 W each minimum) IR dies in a nice parallel row. On a new C mount with a large heat spreader, but no bonding wires. Will definitely be setting that one aside for later.

That wasn't all. He supersized the electronic grab bag as well, included a nice assortment of lenses and other optics. And threw in a couple of the TO-3 collimator adapters to boot to go with the collimators I ordered.

I haven't yet had the time to begin testing on the C mount or 9 mm grab bag assortments, or the other LDs ordered. So much to do, so little time ;-)

WTF is up man! Payment was made on the 1st of this month. It's now the 13th. When I first asked you about my package you said you had your ebay mix up and flu, ya ok I get it. any info on the bare chips? how many per box? what are they, all mixed too? do i have to test them to sort them, like the grabbags? can i order like "one box of x watt 808nm dies"?

I was on the same list as you. I got this note today at 9:22am.

The fission fellow has created a lot of hell for me and I have been delayed in sending stuff out because of it, Both your hene lasers, grab bag etc will go out today or tomorrow. If you feel that the wait is/was unacceptably long you can cancel and I will refund your orders.

I'd give him a few days and then see whats up

And BTW, I paid on the 29th of LAST month. but things happen, things could always be worse.

Just be glad you weren't in on the infamous Blue Fusion driver Group Buy! Never did get those.

Glad it made it. The boxes of chips have 15-20 chips. I can consolidate the chips in one box since they hold about 500 chips each. I have several IR flavors 735, 785, 808nm, 835, 860, 910, 904, 963, 980, 1064, 1125, 1350, and 1500nm available The price is for standard 1/2 to 1W dies. If you want higher power or red 650, 670, and 685 I have some available, but will be a little more costly. note i said LITTLE

are the chips separated in those boxes? like not touching and scratching each other? i am sure they are fine!
650nm, 808nm and 904nm would interest me. whats the higher/highest power and cost? ah, if only you had lower red wavelengths, like 635nm..
what size are the bare chips anyway? i guess 0.5x2mm or something?
so when i order some chips, they are all the same? no unknown random mixture? obviously, since they are still packaged?

indium-tin.. is 137° ok for chips? robin used 93°C indium alloy.. do you happen to have suitable flux too?

1064nm chips, huh? that number somehow sounds familiar.. *scratches head* ;-)

a friend wants to burn off the copper from pcbs instead of etching it off, my idea is to use multible 904nm dies and couple them into individual fibers, bundle them and focus to a point as small as the fiberbundle. i would try to replace a pumpdiode. and perhaps build me some (fiber-) arrays, 808 and red.. guys, this is a one-time chance, even much more than the crazy grab-bags, in my opinion!

theres only one kind of c-mount, any laserdiode on a c-mount is interchangeable. you wont find a better price for one of these, order right away! dont know about postage, but it shouldnt be expensive with such a small package..
