Sorry for all the questions, but for a 1W 9mm red laser that is properly colminated, I would need:
A diode - red 1W
Multimode primary collimator lens set $25.00 each

Thanks! I can hardly wait to check out the greenie module! And to have a real good module to play around with my new LD driver (including a temperature control for TECs )...
And cooling with TECs is really great - not only for the vanadate - even a fine tuning of the emitted wave length is a good way to tune your DIY greenie

About the c-mounts:
I see you have tied the flaplead of my c-mount to the c-block.

Yes it is solder that is being used as the static shirting bridge, you can cut it off and use it to solder the leser diode fly lead to a power pin if you like. If soldering the LD body itself you need 137 deg indium solder.
