Nah, the solder is the way it came to me. They soldered the springs onto the clickies.

I've not had a means of shipping out any additional barrels until I get my next paycheck. As soon as I do I will let everyone know with a list of barrels that get shipped. If you want to pay for shipping now, I will ship yours out if it's done and pay you BACK when I get my paycheck.

Crossout has brought a potential issue to my attention. Apparently when I stripped a few of these, the lye ate away too much of the aluminum in the lens threads and diode pocket. If you receive a barrel that the lens won't thread or the diode won't seat, let me know and I'll have a new one made. With crossouts since it's such a unique anodizing, I'm going to have to drill out the lens threads and make an insert for new threads.

I hide nothing!

Thanks for the update. When's payday?

I'm actually still waiting on some silicone flexi-wire and heatsink junk for the driver to arrive, so I'm not actually "ready" anyway, but would want to try and get my timing right so I'm ready to go when mine arrives. :)

payday is not this Wednesday, but the next. I won't be able to ship too many, I've only gotten 20 hours per week at $8 per hour in the last 3 weeks so, it's gonna be tight.

Good deal! thanks! i meant to keep it private as not to cause too much drama. but so be the case.

I also added to that pm in response that the diode lips in and out of the diode pocket.. also a potential if thermal paste isn't used.

Also, how do we make the rubber inserts stay in for the "groove" area on the outside of the kryton grooves?

I tried just pushing it in, but it seems to keep coming out. Maybe some type of glue.

Someone just let me know what they did, thanks!

To get the rubber insert in you have to stretch it over the cut out while pushing it down into the groove. As you stretch the rubber the diameter of it shrinks so it should slide right in also you want to start with the rubber about an 1/8 inch above the groove so when you let it go there is enough extra to expand and fit inside the groove. I hope this makes sense.

Sorry guys, my son was placed in a Mental Hospital and I had to leave town to be with him. He's since been transferred to a high security facility and I've not been able to follow him, but I didn't even have the means of getting online as I didn't even have my tablet pc with me. He got arrested (now mind you he's only 9yrs old) after running away from school and the police came to find him and when they did, he punched the officer and was carted away to the mental facility out of town. I got notice and immediately had to leave. I just now picked up my paycheck from last week and will be getting on to shipping some more. I wish I had had the means of communicating prior to this.

That's rough about your son.

Trama in the family can often carry over into kids acting out. my wife works at a center for troubled youths 3-18.

Sometimes with the ones she works with, they can get through it. Hopefully yours can and things get better.

Thanks for replying
