It was a joke. I ordered both kinds so I guess I am a non non-believer believer or something like that.

Btw... I got some of the reject parts recently that Pontiacg5 was getting rid of. Realize they are the bad parts and not polished so are not precisely what your hosts will look like. They look good to me though :).

It is exciting...the anticipation!
These are going to make a great addition to my collection....already have a 445 build in mind!
The rejection parts look like they have some Lab build potential in them at least...a little cleaning up and a mount....;)

Ya, I got some too...gonna make my first(depending on when the grooves arrive) labby using one of them as a heatsink. If the Groove arrives first though, I think I will have to set them aside....I am really really impatient for my Groove everytime I play with the "reject heads"

I think that makes you an "anodgnostic"...

i still haven't gotten the barrels yet but am anxiously waiting myself. my bath isnt very big and will only do about 5 at a time so it will take a bit of time.. that and polishing takes a bit of time as well. They don't need to be perfect for the ones that are getting anodized, but they do have to be close. i will be shipping out the bare ones first tho. Gotta get these bad mama jamma's into folk's hands as quickly as possible. It's going to take some time to perfect the custom anodizing as well. While I know how to do it, actually doing it is a different story. I have no doubt I will pick it up quickly tho.

I would like to know when they get shipped to me.

theory and practice are always different :D
i was reading some stuff on caswell about anodizing, really cool to see how some people get the desired effect with different objects used.

my friend also showed me how he did a snake scale look-alike type of anodise using a fishing net, at first i was like wth are you doing your going to ruin it!
but when it was finished i was like omg awesome!

this wasnt on a laser though but on a bicycle frame, would be awesome on a laser though:p

actually, the external contacts on the switch isn't the problem.. It's the guts. The springs or something inside cause it to die. Since it is impossible to take apart, you can't repair them.

switch replacement will be something along these lines. scroll down to the forward tactical.

I ordered a couple of these for replacements on the original Groove that I have but when I opened them I noticed they don't have the 'wings' to make contact with the host. Does anybody know if there is an easy way to get it connected or should I just go with a different replacement clicky?

We are still waiting for an update on the Grooves let alone the Beast. Last info was on the 13th where Kenom stated he was wanting Pontiacg5 to let him know when they ship. Last post from Pontiacg5 was from the 3rd saying they might go out on the 6th. It is now almost 2 weeks from that point so hopefully Pontiacg5 can let us know if something came up that delayed them. I personally don't mind about the delays because I am in no rush but it would be nice to know what the status actually is.

Kenom, Can you contact Pontiacg5 and find out what the status is? I assume he must be very busy since he hasn't posted in awhile.

I have sent him a PM and no response yet. From what I understand he has some personal issues that are rather pressing.

I received the Grooves in the mail today. I'll start the anodizing process and keep everyone updated as I go.
