I have found a supplier in China who supplies leadlight clones for a cheap price :D
She sent me a picture of this model, and i am still awaiting pictures of the chrome model.

Minimum order is 50 units...
They also carry the shiny chrome version, but i do not have pictures yet.
Remember, these will come as WORKING green laser pointers, and if you don't want to take them apart, you could use it as a green laser pointer. They will not be as good pointers as genuine leadlights because they are clones, but they will make hosts that are just as good.

THE PRICE WILL BE $22 A PIECE INCLUDING S/H AND ALL FEES

Who is interested?

Do you mean that they will make green lasers or leadlight hosts?

Based in a phone call this week, I may need a few more of these.

Shipping prices depends on how much people are in...
However, the supplier said she would lower the price to $13.30 :D

Don't forget to add in your own handling margin before quoting too many numbers.  For PayPal, I believe it's $0.30 + 3% per transaction.

I'm not trying to be mean, I'd just rather not see you turn into Wes.

Re: Possible Leadlight GB

I think that anything below $20 per laser (Including S/H) is a nice price for this GB.

Don't forget Western Union Fees (unless they accept Paypal, which is doubtful) and shipping TO and FROM you.

But, these look like they might be pretty easy to disassemble, so I'd be in for a few (I'd like the Chrome one sitting in the case, if possible).

Never used them, but that's what I hear... not like Paypal where the recipient pays fees. With them, I think the sender does.

I know for sure the pointer itself will be $13.30
I'm not sure how much the total will be, but it will very likely be under $20.

I am working this out right now, and a feeler will be up soon.

To "break even" you are going to have to charge about $20 apiece. That includes rough estimates of; cost of the units, shipping from China, Western Union, PayPal, packaging, and postage to ship them out to the members. That's with you donating ALL of your time to; answer PM's, collect funds, order units, send funds, buy packaging, re-package, generate postage, ship items, and deal with customer service. Plus you better collect enough extra money to cover the cost of the inevitable "lost" packages and defective lasers.

I don't know what your life is like, and I do love the forum, but I wouldn't do all of that work for free. How many are still interested in these at $22 each?

Peace,
dave
