OK as I've mentioned in the other thread going around about PHR-803T sleds, this is the deal. The sleds delivered to the US (scopeguy20) are $21 each....distribution within the US at extra cost.

I know a few people don't want to deal with wire-transfers to Chia etc etc so this is what I have proposed. I have an agent in China that I source all of my electronics components from, they're more than happy to purchase the sleds and send them to me in Australia.

I don't have any interest in doing the distribution, so if you guys can nominate a responsible and trusted forum member to collate the money and act as cashier/distributor then I'm happy to grab the sleds and send them on to the US 100% fee free, as I just want to be able to get some discount sleds for myself in with everyone elses buying power.

Let me know who's keen, who's the cashier/distributor nominee (if the agree of course) I'm guessing domestic post for you guys is ~$2 so if you're getting 5+ sleds it's a pretty good deal.

Here's a pic of a sled next to PSXboys one (who the supplier sells to as well) the diode tested fine at 100ma :)

GROUP BUY LIST

I'm definately interested in buying one. Can you give an estimate of what shipping to Europe would cost?

As for the person handling the payments and such, I have no idea

If it pleases the buyers, I would be glad to help this GB fly! I can send out to all interested, and am set up to get payments from PP & GC. Let me know if you want me to work in the GB. I also can buy a few for my friends who build. Best Wishes! -Glenn

the shipping price to you would depend on where the "distributor" will be located. ask that ? again after all the "whos doin what" is figured out.

Yeah, you're right. I think I somehow believed in the back of my head that 666DAN would be the "dstributor" in this GB, even though he stated he clearly had no intention to :-?

I think airy's GB went fine, shipping was fast, and he is on the West Coast. I am fine with it, if someone well known does it, but I am willing.

I think scopeguy20 sounds like a top choice. So if everyone is agreed, scopeguy20 is 'the man'

Unfortunanely for me to distribute from here, Australia Post is rediculously expensive for small items, and to get anything tracked or registered blows the price out of the water. Also I'm under the pump sending out 150+ items a week as is, a nice big single pack to the US sounds a much better option.

So maybe we can just update the first post with forum member names and quantities, then scopeguy20 can PM his payment details for both PP and GC to those interested

So all definates just fire me a quick PM with quantity required, I'll sort the rest with scopeguy20

Also if anyone is actually after 25 sleds or more, I can send those myself...as it's not a massive ask to do all those to one US address. Delivered via reg mail it then works out a flat rate of $22.50 per sled, no more to pay.

Could it be possible to ship a few (like 2) to Sydney without having it travel around the world first?

Hey, yeah sorry anyone local shouldn't be an issue. Postage would have to be registered though.

So would that make it cheaper or more expensive to send it domestically?

Slightly more expensive domesticaly, but would only be a couple of dollars (if someone can confirm domestic postage costs in the US?)

If it's like here you can post up to ~250-500g at a flat rate, so those buying more than 5 sleds would only see a $1 more per sled I think....10 sleds and it's like 50 cents.

You're also going to have people that want priority tracked etc etc so those fellas may want to pay more to guarantee nothing goes walking in the mail (assuming the US is like our mail here :S )

first class can be shipped for around 2$ + or - depending on weight. priority is usually around 5$ depending on the method of priority used(flat rate box or envelope or regular) all packages can be tracked if labels are printed with paypal but im not sure about google checkout.
